Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
