Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
